The murder of Murfreesboro resident General W. Jack Rains may have been solved. Rains, a former Tennessee State Trooper, was shot to death this past August while at his home.
A Grand Jury has indicted 39-year old Tina Gail Williamson from Woodbury and she now faces first degree murder and especially aggravated robbery charges. Rains was 83-years old when killed. Williamson was apparently an acquaintance of Rains. After the murder, Williamson may have ransacked the former Trooper’s home.
Williamson is being held without bond until her court hearing on December the 17th.
