Condominium in downtown area closer to reality

The proposed condominium on West Main Street near the Rutherford County square has received preliminary approval by the Murfreesboro Planning Commission. Developers of the structure have tweaked their plans to make it “fit-in” better according to some downtown residents. One of the next steps in the process is for the city council to hold a public hearing on the issue.

Gresham Smith and Partners designed the 44-unit building that may one day stand 6-stories tall along West Main Street near Broad Street.
