Racial Slur Lands MPD Officer on Suspension
A racial slur has resulted in the suspension for Murfreesboro Police 
Captain Carl Watkins. The three day suspension was handed down after he allegedly said the “N” word in a conversation with friends while on duty in February. It was broadcast on police radios. Watkins - who happens to be black, will also have to complete cultural diversity training
