Murfreesboro Resident Named Regional President

image Wilson Bank & Trust has named Barry Buckley regional president of the bank’s Southern Region. The Murfreesboro resident most recently served as regional president for the bank’s Eastern Region in DeKalb, Smith and Trousdale Counties. In his new position, Buckley will oversee the bank’s Murfreesboro and Smyrna operations. Stan Hayes will continue in his role as County President. In 2003 Buckley and his wife Pam moved to Murfreesboro from Fayetteville.  They are members of North Boulevard Church of Christ and have three grown children.  Buckley has been in banking for more than 30 years, and has worked in Middle Tennessee since 1988. His previous experience has included serving as president of a bank in Fayetteville and serving as an originating officer at a bank in Cookeville. Buckley attended school at Harding University and the University of Memphis.  Wilson Bank & Trust is the largest independent community bank in Middle Tennessee with total assets of over $1.4 billion.
