A 31-year old woman has been indicted by a grand jury on accusations of having sex with a 15-year old boy. Christie G. McCoy of LaVergne faces five counts of statutory rape as the result of an incident that allegedly occurred in 2005. The reported rape supposedly occurred when the 15-year old boy was in her care.
The charges stem from a complaint filed on May 1st of this year in Murfreesboro. The complaint was initially filed by the Department of Children’s Services. McCoy, who is currently behind bars in Rutherford County, will receive copies of the indictment on Monday.

This is very troubling! How can we trust people to babysit or take care of our kids these days? People, screen all potential child care givers VERY deeply! May God help us with raising our kids the best we can in this day and time.
