Remembering fallen Murfreesboro Officers

Rutherford County Sheriff Truman Jones noted that law enforcement personal in Rutherford County work together unlike other areas of our state and country.

Murfreesboro Police Chief Glenn Chrisman stated that a special service was being held elsewhere in our state where law enforcement personal remembered Murfreesboro Officer Kay Francis Rogers who was killed in the line of duty when a motorist struck her motorcycle. Chief Chrisman said that no new names have been added to the list of fallen officers in the past year however, Murfreesboro has had some major losses.

The service was held in the Murfreesboro City Hall on Thursday.
